Booking Terms and Agreement

Funpick Holidays is a fee free tour zone. We provide international holiday tour packages, flights, hotel and resorts bookings, cruise reservations and travel insurance services. We won’t charge any fee or administrative charges for tour consultations/bookings. The client reserves the right to amend/change any travel/tour bookings and must accordingly convey within twenty (20) working days inadvance to Funpick Holidays. Clients are requested to provide exact email address and working phone number share to Funpick Holidays inorder for smooth communications and tour process.

Your booking is confirmed with an official email with booking vouchers/inbound-outbound tour advices exists when Funpick Holidays issues a written confirmation by e-mail from ([email protected]) after receipt of the applicable deposit amount. Please check your confirmation e-mail carefully and report any incorrect or incomplete information to Funpick Holidays at your earliest. Please ensure that names and other information of yours are exactly as stated in the passport.

You must be at least 18 years of age to make a travel booking. You agree to provide full, complete and accurate information to the Tour Agency with regards to your tour bookings.

By booking on behalf of other clients, you are deemed to be the designated contact person for every client included on that booking. This means that you are responsible for making all payments due in connection with your Tour booking, notifying Funpick Holidays if any changes or cancellations are required and keeping your party informed.

By booking on behalf of another person or persons, you represent that you have obtained all required consents. You are responsible for verifying that any information you provide on behalf of another participant is complete and accurate and Funpick Holidays will under no circumstances be liable for any errors or omissions in the information provided to complete a booking.

You must provide any medical health information reasonably requested by Funpick Holidays and may be required to complete Funpick Holidays’s medical health information data forms provided as part of your final confirmation process.

Medical health data are mandatory for certain Tours. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions which may impact their ability to travel, participate in a Tour, travel to remote areas without access to medical facilities or may adversely affect the experience of others on your tour, you must return a medical health data form, signed by a licensed and practicing physician to Funpick Holidays prior to or at the time of final payment for the applicable booking.

You agree to complete the Medical health data form honestly and to disclose all relevant medical information accurately and fully. Funpick Holidays reserves the right to request further information or professional medical opinions where necessary, as determined in its discretion, for your safety or the safe operation of a Tour. Funpick Holidays reserves the right to deny you permission to travel or participate in any aspect of a Tour at any time and at your own risk and expense where the Tour operator determines that your physical or mental condition renders you unfit for travel or you represent a danger to yourself or others.

Pregnancy is considered a medical health condition and must be disclosed to Funpick Holidays at the time of booking. Funpick Holidays may refuse to carry pregnant women over 24 weeks. Tour operator may refuse to carry anyone with certain medical conditions if reasonable accommodation or alternatives cannot be arranged.

Tourists proceeding to Africa regions is required to obtain Yellow Fever Vacination prior to your trip starts from the origin. It is the responsibility of the traveller to obtain the vacination from government authorised vacination centres/dispensary and keep the yellow card ready with the travel documents before the trip starts.

You are responsible for assessing whether a Tour is suitable for you. You should consult your physician to confirm your fitness for travel and participation in any planned activities. You should seek your physician’s advice on vaccinations and medical precautions. Funpick Holidays does not provide medical advice/opinions/assistance. And where information is provided by Funpick Holidays on a good faith basis, it shall not be deemed as medical advice. It is your responsibility to assess the risks and requirements of each aspect of the Tour based on your own unique circumstances, limitations, fitness level and medical requirements.

Travel with Funpick Holidays may involve visiting remote or developing regions (tourist attractions areas), where medical care may not be easily accessible and medical facilities may not meet the standards of those found in your home city or country. The condition of medical facilities in the cities or countries you may visit on your Tour varies and Funpick Holidays makes no representations and gives no warranties in relation to the availability or standard of medical facilities in those regions.

Any special requirements must be disclosed to Funpick Holidays at the time of booking. Funpick Holidays will use reasonable efforts to accommodate special requirements or requests but this is not always possible given the nature of the destinations visited and availability of options outside a planned itinerary. Certain activities may be inaccessible to you if your mobility is limited in any way. All food allergies and dietary restrictions must be disclosed to Funpick Holidays at the time of booking but Funpick Holidays cannot guarantee that dietary needs or restrictions can be accommodated at your tour destinations. Any special requests or requirements do not form part of these Terms or the contract between you and Funpick Holidays and Funpick Holidays is NOT liable for any failure to accommodate or fulfill such requests.

All tour packages are quoted on Land costs only (Airfares, Visas, Border fee, Entry fee, Taxes, other charges/expenses) are excluded in the tour cost, unless expressly mentioned in the Tour itinerary/descriptions. The price of the tour packages and any products or services offered by Funpick Holidays is subject to change at any time based on peak seasons, before booking confirmation. Tours are priced and advertised exclusive of applicable sales taxes/GST. After a confirmation receipt has been issued by Funpick Holidays, the travel agency reserves the right to impose surcharges on any products or services booked for reasons arising from increases in transportation costs, fuel costs, dues, taxes or fees chargeable for services such as landing taxes or embarkation or disembarkation fees at ports and airport charges, local operator costs, currency and exchange fluctuations, increases in taxes, or government action which impacts the price of the applicable products or services.

All bookings made on Funpick Holidays are subject to the terms & conditions as requested by end-supplier. All completed transactions are valid for cancellation depending on the time duration specified by the hotel, activity providers and/or partner in their respective destinations.

Unless otherwise specified at the time of booking, cancellation requests will be entertained only as allowed by suppliers and partners of Funpick Holidays. Refunds will be made using the same payment method as used by the client while booking within 45 working days.

NO REFUNDS or compensation will be payable by Funpick Holidays in the event that any client is not permitted to, or decides not to undertake or complete the tour for any reason whatsoever.

Funpick Holidays will quote the best airfare price available for the travel dates requested at the time the quote is generated. Quotes provide an estimate only and are not a firm price commitment by Funpick Holidays or the applicable airline carrier.

Funpick Holidays acts only as an booking agent for the applicable airline carrier and the airline carrier terms and conditions apply to the purchase and use of the air travel ticket. Please visit/consult the airline carrier’s applicable terms and conditions and conditions of carriage for complete information including applicable cancellation terms and conditions. Funpick Holidays is NOT responsible for any changes in airline itineraries or flight times and does not provide advice or alerts regarding air travel tickets, flight status, flight cancellations or delays.

Travel Documents; It is your own responsibility to obtain information and to have in your possession all the required documents and identification required for entry, departure and travel to each country or region. This includes a valid passport and all travel documents required by the relevant government authorities including all visas, permits, medical/vacination reports and travel insurance policies. You must have a passport that is valid 6 months after the last date of travel as set out on your itinerary. You accept full responsibility for obtaining all such documents, visas and permits prior to the start of the Tour, and you are solely responsible for the full amount of costs incurred as a result of missing or defective documentations. You agree that you are responsible for the full amount of any loss or expense incurred by Funpick Holidays that is a direct result of your failure to secure or be in possession of proper travel documentation. Funpick Holidays does not provide advice on travel documents and makes no representations or warranties as to the accuracy or completeness of any information provided on visas, vaccinations, climate, clothing, baggage, or special equipment and you agree that Funpick Holidays is NOT responsible for any errors or omissions in this information.

FLIGHTS:

Domestic & International

Domestic Flight Booking Terms:

You are required to pay the entire amount prior to the confirmation of your booking.
There will be NO refund for ‘no-shows’ or any partially unused flights.
Refund against partially utilized ticket is as per airlines terms and conditions and could take up to 90 working days.
To avail of infant fares, an infant must be under 24 months throughout the entire itinerary you are booking. This includes both onward and return journeys. If the infant is 24 months or above on the return journey, you’ll need to make a separate booking using a child fare.
Infants must be accompanied by an adult at least 18 years of age.
All Tickets/Bookings issued to the customer shall additionally be governed under the terms and conditions as laid out by the respective Airlines / supplier.
We recommend user to refer airlines terms and conditions before booking the ticket.
By accepting our booking terms, user is also agreeing to terms & conditions of the respective airline.
Funpick Holidays charges a non-refundable per passenger convenience fee of Rs.280/- for one way flights and Rs.480/- for roundtrip flights, however, it may vary for few sectors/airlines.
Friends and Family Special Fares are applicable only on both Domestic and International sectors.
Special Fares are applicable for minimum two and maximum nine passengers in one booking.
Seats are subject to availability
Special Fares are not applicable on group bookings
Normal baggage allowance applicable for these fares based on airline and booking category.

Minimum 2 passengers will be required in the PNR after cancellation in case booked under family fare.

All statutory taxes, surcharges and fees are to be paid by the passenger, as applicable on the date of travel
Flight schedules and timings are subject to regulatory approvals and change(s)
Most airlines do not permit infants younger than 7 days. For more information, please get in touch directly with the airlines
As per airline policy, unaccompanied minor passengers are required to carry specific supporting documents. Please contact the airline directly for the same

Check-in:

As per the airline rules, the standard check-in time begins 2 hours before departure for domestic flights.
For International flights, the check-in time is 3 hours before departure.
The passenger needs to check-in at least 2 hrs prior departure for Air India and Air India Express domestic flights else will be considered as a no show.
Infants must have valid proof-of-age documents showing that the infant is less than two years old.

Amendments:

Every booking made on Funpick Holidays is subject to amendment charges levied by the airline, which may vary by flight and booking class.
In case of Online Reschedule, the existing booking id will be auto cancelled with applicable airlines cancellation charges and a fresh booking id will be generated as per current pricing.
If you amend your booking, you will be charged the difference in fare, if any, applicable when the amendment is made. However if the new fare is lower than the Original fare, difference in the amount will not be refunded, but the rebooking charges as applicable will be collected
In addition to the airline’s amendment charges, Funpick Holidays charges an amendment handling fee of Rs 400 per passenger per sector.
We’ll collect these charges from you when we make the changes to your travel plans. We’ll also collect the difference in fare, if any, applicable when the amendment is made.
Depending on the airline’s policy, some booked fares may not be amended.
All bookings made through us, can also be amended by calling up the Airline Call Center directly.

Cancellation Policy::

Every booking made on Funpick Holidays is subject to cancellation charges levied by the airline, which may vary by flight and booking class.
Some booked fares may be non-refundable per the specific airline’s policy.
Offline cancellations: We accept cancellation requests only through Email. Pax is requested to email us the Ticket details with PNR.
Funpick Holidays cancellation charges: In addition to the airline cancellation charges, Funpick Holidays will charge Rs 300 per passenger per sector for each cancellation.
Only cancellation requests made telephonic or email (For emails travel date must be more than 48 Hrs) through our customer support shall be entertained. Customer requested to share your e-ticket booked thru Funpick Holidays, we will verify and inform the customer about the cancellations procedures and charges applicable. Funpick Holidays shall not be liable to entertain any cancellation requests made through any other medium.
For e-tickets, if your cancellation request is made less than 4 hours before departure, you’ll need to contact the airline directly to get your reservation cancelled. We will not be able to provide any assistance for these cancellations.
If you have done a ‘Web/Tele Check-in’ with the airline, get in touch with the airline for cancellation. Funpick Holidays will not be able to process the refund or any further requests for the same booking and will not take any responsibility.

Refund:

It is mandatory to contact Funpick Holidays for all refunds, as the airline will not be able to refund your tickets booked through Funpick Holidays.
All cancellations made directly with the Airline need to be intimated to Funpick Holidays by Email in order to initiate the refunds process.
Processing times for cancellation and refund requests vary as per airline norms.
Convenience fees paid at the time of booking is a non-refundable fee and same shall be applicable on all cancellations including any partial cancellation requests
The refund will be credited back to the same account from where the payment was made by the customer. For example, if the User used a bank transfer. On the event of cancellation and refund of partially utilized tickets upfront discount and promo code discount availed at the time of booking would be deducted from the refund amount.
In case, where the cusotmer has cancelled his/her booking directly with the airlines, he/she will need to inform Funpick Holidays with valid documentation to initiate the refund process. It is advisable to contact Funpick Holidays within 48 hours of the cancellation request.
The meal amount is non-refundable. (Refundable only if the flight is cancelled by the airlines).
Funpick Holidays will only be able to initiate customer’s refund only after receipt and/or confirmation of refund from the airline.

International Flight Booking Terms:

The total price of airticket includes all applicable government taxes. Excludes all applicable airport taxes/fees or other charges payable at the airport.
You are required to pay the entire amount prior to the confirmation of your booking.
Name entered in traveler’s details should be exactly as per the passport. Name changes after booking are not allowed.
There will be no refund for ‘no-shows’ or any partially unused flights.
Meals, frequent flyer miles and special service are on request basis only and are subject to airlines terms and conditions and confirmation.
For any information regarding your Frequent Flyer miles or promotion/ tie-ups, please contact the airline directly.
Kindly ensure that you have the relevant visa, transit visa (if applicable), immigration clearance and travel with a passport, with a validity of at least 6 months as on date of travel.
To avail infant fares, an infant must be under 24 months throughout the entire itinerary you are booking. This includes onward and return journeys. If the infant is 24 months or above on the return journey, you will be required to make a separate booking using a child fare
Infants must be accompanied by an adult at least 18 years of age.
Funpick Holidays is not responsible for any schedule change by the airline after issuance of the ticket, but will inform you of the same if informed by the airlines. It is advisable to reconfirm your flight timings 24 hours prior to your flight departure.
Funpick Holidays will charge transaction fees for availing the Funpick Holidays Services. Funpick Holidays reserves the right to alter any and all kinds of transaction fees from time to time, without notice. You shall be liable to pay all applicable charges, fees, duties and taxes for availing the Funpick Holidays Services.
Minimum 2 passengers will be required in the PNR after cancellation in case booked under family fare.
Funpick Holidays charges a non-refundable convenience charge of Rs.550/- for oneway flights and Rs.700/- for roundtrip flights additionally on per passenger basis.
Funpick Holidays reserves the right to cancel any booking made by any travel agent using promotional offers for business purpose without any prior notice. The promotional offers are strickly meant for bookings booked for personal travel only.
Most airlines do not permit infants younger than 7 days. For more information, please get in touch directly with the airlines

The passenger is required to check-in at least 3 hours prior departure for International flights, else will be considered as a NO SHOW.
As per the airline rules, the standard check-in time begins 3 hours before departure.
Infants must have valid proof-of-age documents showing that the infant is under two years old.
You need to carry appropriates travels permissions (Valid Passport, Visa, Immigration clearance etc.) done before departure. Funpick Holidays is not responsible for any issues related to documents (invalid or inappropriate travel documents).

Amendments:

Funpick Holidays can assist you with amendments to most bookings. In some cases, though, you’ll need to contact the airline directly
Every booking made on Funpick Holidays is subject to amendment charges charged by the airline, which may vary by flight and booking class.
If you amend your booking, you will be charged the difference in fare, if any, applicable when the amendment is made. However if the new fare is lower than the original fare, difference in the amount will not be refunded. The rebooking charges as applicable will be collected.
In addition to the airline’s amendment charges, Funpick Holidays charges an amendment service fee of Rs 650 per passenger per sector.

All amendments should be done at least 72 hrs (3 days) prior to departure date. Certain airlines do not allow any changes or cancellation within 72 hrs and treat the booking as a No Show.
Air Arabia, Air Asia, Fly Scoot, Air India Express & Tiger Airways bookings cannot be rescheduled or changed with us. For rescheduling or changing the ticket, please contact airline directly with PNR and it is subject to airline’s terms and conditions.

Cancellation Policy:

Every booking made thru Funpick Holidays is subject to cancellation charges charged by the airline, which may vary by flight and booking class.
Some booked fares may be non-refundable per the specific airline’s policy. There will no refund in such cases.
On top of the airline’s cancellation charges, Funpick Holidays charges a service fee of Rs 650 per passenger per sector.
Offline cancellations: We also consider cancellation requests through phone and email. An email with ticket details, PNR is mandatory for further cancellation process.
All cancellations should be done at least 48 hrs (2 days) prior to departure date. Certain airlines do not allow any changes or cancellation within 48 hrs and treat the booking as a “No Show”.
For e-tickets, if your cancellation request is made less than 48 hours prior to departure, you’ll need to contact our customer support team by email.
If you have done a ‘Web/Tele Check-in’ with the airline, get in touch with the airline for cancellation. Funpick Holidays will not be able to process the refund for the same and will not take any responsibility for the same.
To cancel the tickets offline, Email with your Booking Reference to Funpick Holidays.
Air Arabia, Tiger Airways, Air Asia, Air India Express and Scoot Airlines bookings, cannot be cancelled with us. For cancellation, please contact airline directly and it is subject to airline’s terms and conditions. However, Funpick Holidays will provide assistance for cancellations.

Refunds:

It is mandatory to contact Funpick Holidays for all refunds, as the airline will not be able to refund your airtickets booked thru Funpick Holidays.
Processing times for cancellation and refund requests vary and shall be done within 5 to 7 days, it doesn’t mean the Refund.
Refund for partially utilized tickets (for eg:- only one sector flown & other sector cancelled) may take minimum of 25 to 30 working days up to 6 months depending on the Airline.

HOTEL BOOKING & CANCELLATIONS:

From budget hotels to luxurious resorts, you can also find them all in just a few clicks. The lowest price guarantee will help you rest assured that you are getting your money’s worth every time you book with Funpick Holidays.

  • Funpick Holidays reserves the right to change or withdraw the offer, any time at the sole discretion of the management.
  • Funpick Holidays will offer free cancellation on select International hotels
  • The hotel cancellation policy will apply on any cancellation done by the customer after 12 Noon on the day prior to the check-in date. The policy will be mentioned while making the hotel booking and in the booking confirmation voucher sent to the customer.
  • Peak Season, all reservations full payments and booking advances are non-refundable.
  • It is advisable to book hotel rooms atleast one, two month advance to your stay to get best deals/offers.
  • Deals and Offers is valid on select hotel bookings made for hotels in India and Abroad with Funpick Holidays. Free cancellation offer will not be valid for, International Hotel Bookings, partial cancellations and modified offline (through email).
  • Bookings made under the Free Cancellation offer will not support online modifications (including date change, name change, addition/removal of rooms and addition of guests).
  • All decisions with respect to the offer shall be at the discretion of Funpick Holidays and the same shall be final, binding and non-contestable.
  • Cancellation/No Show Policy: Once a reservation is confirmed, please notify us by email of any cancellation or modification of the booking at least 3 days (48 hours) before arrival for FIT bookings and 2 weeks before arrival for Group bookings in order to avoid a charge of 1 night’s stay to be imposed. Booking Cancellations Charges applicable and will be intimated after confirmation from the hotel/resort.
  • Requests for specific bed types and smoking preferences will be accommodated, based on availability on arrival at the hotel.
  • The room tariff mentioned above is applicable per room per night. Taxes, service charges and other levies are additional wherever applicable.
  • The room tariff is not inclusive of airport transfer. However, should you require any facilitation for the same please feel free to contact us.
  • Guaranteed Room Reservations not cancelled 48 hours before arrival would attract a retention charge equivalent to one night’s room tariff.
  • In the event of a cancellation before 48 hrs, please retain the cancellation number, to ensure that no retention charge is levied.
  • Guests are requested to settle their extras/bills at hotel directly while checking out. We are not in a position to accept personal cheques/money transfers and a signing facility is extended only to those corporate accounts that have a credit facility with the respective hotel/travel agency.
  • Prior information for a Smoking or Non-smoking Room will enable us to provide on priority, subject to availability.
  • All guests must produce a valid passport and valid Visa upon Check-in at hotel/resort: For any early Check-out, there will be one night early check-out penalty to be imposed. In an event of a guest No Show, a fee of one night’s rate will be charged.
  • No Refunds for No Shows.

CRUISE BOOKING (Ocean Cruises):

Subject to individual cruise operator norms, it will be defined at the time of booking.

Backwater Cruises:

Subject to individual cruise operator norms, it will be defined at the time of booking.
